CodeIgniter Inventory & Billing

https://codignator.webcrg.com/ (redirects to /login)

Your CodeIgniter stock and billing app for a computer shop, on its own subdomain. It opens on a sign-in page with no demo login, so visitors currently can’t get past it (a demo account or a public “how it works” page is still open).

Flow

  1. Sign in (no public account yet)
  2. Stock / inventory and billing in one system — written up in the blog post “Stock and billing in one system”

https://laravel.webcrg.com/ (redirects to /login)
https://laravel.webcrg.com/workflow (public “How it works”)

A real, persistent Laravel 13 product (not a resettable demo) for a fictional facilities company. Private accounts only: visitors can read the workflow page but can’t sign in without an account.

Flow

  1. Sign in → super admin, sub-admin or admin level
  2. Pages × actions access matrix (services, categories, customers, statements, reports, activity, users)
  3. An admin hits a locked page → requests access
  4. Sub-admin approves (all or part), declines, or forwards to the super admin
  5. Requester gets an in-app notification; plus View as, activity log, CSV exports

03 · React & Next.jsLive

Trackhaven — order tracking product

https://webcrg.com/demos/react-nextjs/

A fictional order-tracking SaaS with its own brand: a marketing site plus a working dashboard app. It shows what a modern React / Next.js product looks like end to end. Next.js 16 static export, noindex.

Flow

  1. Marketing home (product pitch, features) → /demos/react-nextjs/
  2. Open the app → dashboard /demos/react-nextjs/dashboard/
  3. Browse orders and tracking status inside the dashboard

04 · Custom web applicationLive

Crewloop — job manager for “Ember & Frost Climate Co.”

https://webcrg.com/demos/custom-web-app/

A fully interactive job manager for a fictional heating and cooling installer. Data stays in the visitor’s browser (localStorage), and “Reset demo” restores the sample data.

Flow

  1. Landing page → open the app /demos/custom-web-app/app/
  2. Jobs board: drag and drop (or keyboard “Move to”) through the company’s own workflow stages; list view too
  3. Job detail /app/job/?id=…: notes and history
  4. Schedule, customers, spreadsheet import with per-row checks
  5. Switch role: manager vs technician (rules enforced in the data layer)
  6. Exports (CSV / .ics) and the customer email log
  7. Customer-facing status page /demos/custom-web-app/status/?ref=…
  8. Explainer: /demos/custom-web-app/workflow/ (“How it works”)

05 · Node.js & APILive

Tallowbrook API — a real API for a fictional homewares shop

https://webcrg.com/demos/nodejs-api/ (site)
https://webcrg.com/demos/tallowbrook-api/ (the API itself)

A running Fastify + TypeScript API for “Tallowbrook Supply”, with a Next.js front end that calls it live. Each visitor gets their own in-memory sandbox (24 h). Shows idempotent orders, signed webhooks, retries, replay, and a slow-vs-optimized report.

Flow

  1. Overview /demos/nodejs-api/ — a sandbox key (sk_demo_…) is created on first use
  2. Console /console/ — send live requests, copy the curl
  3. Integrations /integrations/ — payment webhook timeline, simulated CRM outage, retries, replay, forged webhook rejected
  4. Performance /performance/ — legacy N+1 report (~170 queries) vs optimized (3 queries, ETag/304)
  5. Reference /reference/ — generated from /openapi.json; then About

Halverne Studio — before and after

https://webcrg.com/demos/modernization/

The same site for a fictional architecture studio built twice: an old-style site (fixed width, jQuery plugins, huge JPEGs, render-blocking CSS) and a modern Next.js rebuild. The compare page measures both live in the visitor’s browser.

Flow

  1. Hub /demos/modernization/ — what the demo is
  2. Old site /before/
  3. New site /after/
  4. Compare /compare/ — requests, KB, render-blocking, FCP, LCP, CLS measured live
  5. What changed /changes/, then About

07 · Mobile appLive

Tallowbrook customer app — React Native + Expo

https://webcrg.com/demos/mobile-app/

The shopping app for the same fictional Tallowbrook Supply, running on the live Tallowbrook API. Shown as the web build inside a phone frame on desktop (with a QR code to open it on a phone); full screen below 900px. The same code builds iPhone and Android apps, but it isn’t in the stores.

Flow

  1. Shop → product page
  2. Add to bag → checkout (a double tap still makes one order: Idempotency-Key)
  3. Order page: progress from the API — payment authorised, webhook-confirmed, email sent, refund
  4. Orders tab (history) and About

Dropped · WordPressRemoved

Quillbay — WordPress demo (removed 25 Sep 2026)

https://webcrg.com/demos/wordpress/ → 301 to the WordPress service page

Built, briefly live, then taken down by your decision. Code, backups and databases were deleted, and it was never linked from the live site. The WordPress service page has no demo.
